WBC Screenshots

Recommended Posts

Hello everybody, i am uploading 4 screen shots as we promised so you guys know what we are working on exactly.

What you are looking is not a mockup, it is the actual software

Please keep in mind that the current theme is for testing purposes only, so if you feel it is horrendous don't worry! it is extremely easy to change colors, icons and fonts!

1) WBC_4K.jpg .- This screen shot was taken using a 4K monitor (3840 x 2160 ). The components will be explained in detail on wednesday news !

2) WBC_4K_Green.jpg .- We changed some colors here. To do this we just need to edit a config file and you can chose color  for most visual pieces you can see (title bar, status bar, highlighted componets, tabs ,etc etc etc .... mmmm ...  etc etc etc)

3) WBC_4K_ScaledDown.jpg.- Here we scaled down the panel, we can do this pressing Ctrl + rotating the mouse wheel ( you can scale up and down ). As you can see all visual pieces are also scaled ( it is not just the size of the window )

4) WBC_1440x900.jpg.- We are runiing now with a 1440 x 990 Monitor. As you can see the engine scaled perfectly without doing anything

We are still preparing the video so please be patient, it will be released the next couple days

You showed me the other version but this looks even better. The adjustable dimensions are going to be useful as before we have seen many issues on different resolutions. It is difficult to show something until there is something to show, hopefully more will understand what Mario has been working upon.

Hi, thanks for your comment s guys, The Business Center is a direct replacement of the wallet. The standard wallet will be just a module of the Business Center; the next version is scheduled for June with this functionality.

After this, we will complete the plugin framwork so every function will be a pluguin and every business will be able to make theirs so they will be able to sell their stuff in wallet and we will receive a small commission to sustain ourseves. We also plan to add a lot of information like price tickers, graphs, and whaever you guys want.

What can business centre do? I don't understand about plugins what does that mean? You say direct access to shops, graphs, data, but can you give examples please. Is it own shops or somebody else's and what sort of direct access to those shops? Are you talking an independent e-commerce solution?

For example, they use our system to pull data from their shop so that items appear within the extension in the wallet meaning less hassle and easier access to help spend Worldcoin. So yes 3rd party shops but we'd verify their plugin code and legitimacy. The easiest way to explain a similarity to the appstore.

Will business centre include fiat exchange and bitcoin?

Hi, what we are doing is building a framework so in the future every company would  potentially integrate their business inside the wallet. We need to build the infrastructure first, when we finish this, we will start integrating some business ourselves to selected businesses; an exchange is definitely a strong possibility but that doesn't mean that we need to make our exchange first, we can integrate cryptsy fro exmaple or cex.io

This framework is divided in 3 stages, the first one will be released in june where users will have a taste of what are the possibilities, the first plugins will be the basic ones incorporating functionality  of our previous  wallet. The difference will be that you wont need to recompile the wallet if you like to change this plugins and many other advantages that will be easier to explain when they are done.

Ok, plugins first, I will try to make an example to make it clearer, for this open your wallet and look at the first data that is displayed in the wallet, you have a balance, unconfirmed coins and immature coins.

Now  what if some one would like to add a line which displays the coins in USDS ? in the current situation with most wallets (all ? ) you would need to follow this steps :

  1) Subscribe to Github

  2) Download all source code of the wallet

  3) Study source code of the wallet trying to learn were you should start adding your code

  4) Once you find the entry point, you need to start developing in c++ all the functionality required including the management of the network connection (to the place where you should get the exchange rate ), your pointers, etc

  5) Recompile the wallet

  6) Test your solution and if it doesn't work return to step 4)

  7) If there is a new version of the wallet repeat from step 2)

Now With the plugin architecture we are building :

 1) Study documentation

 2) Code in QML + Java Script (which is a lot  easier to code than C++)

 3) Copy your file to a specified directory and start testing

 4) If it doesn't work return to  point 2)

In other words;

it will be a lot easier to code more functionality so it will attract more developers

The time to develop new functionality will decrease considerably

When upgrading you shouldn't need to do anything

You don't need to compile to integrate your work just copy a file inside a directory and run the wallet

You don't need to study the wallets code to integrate your work

All heavy work  functionality will be already coded (like network management) so your resulting code will be shorter and simpler

Right now when you code directly to the wallet, there is always the possibility that you shoot yourself in the foot and erase private keys, crash the wallet,  etc etc. With this framework you won be able to do this even if you try

About examples :

When the framework is complete we will start integrating services ourselves for business that already has adopted BTC, this will lead them to adopt WDC too because their services will be widespread inside the wallet  and we will collect a small fee from those companies for every sale we performed from inside the wallet (a win win situation) to sustain ourselves and integrate many more services.

Also the idea is to make a common market place, this means that you will have just one component called Śhopping' in your panel, and you will see all third party offerings consolidated like a supermarket or amazon market

Also we will start integrating many small services like price tickers in USD, chain info, graphs, data that you will access from the panel in the left side ( Module Panel)

Another idea is to integrate crypto news inside the wallet and we can negotiate to the web site saying that we distribute their news in exchange of a  monthly article about WDC (another win win situation ), free marketing, users have another service and the interested web pages gain more readers, everybody wins ( as it should in any well done deal)

As you can imagine the possibilities are endless
