I read and sites, see brief description above. Looks like a burst of marketing and now no more (Chinese pump)

Hi.

I think that until a strong and amicable team of investors is created, there should be no change. The Chinese community speaks its own language, only Asic mining is important for them and full control over market WDC. But I see that even they do not have a consensus.

Good to see you here again, Shveicar. Been following your exchange with Berzeck on Bitcointalk.

I just wanted to prove that without serious decision-making (changing the algorithm and switching to a new system), there will be no development. And it happened. We saw the same strategy Pump and dump from the Chinese, which was before. Now they have dropped their stocks of WDC and perhaps have forgotten about this coin for several years.

Maybe when the price falls to 0.1 cents they will want to organize the pump again, but nobody knows.

In any case, I have long sold my WDC and I do not want to dance to the tune of the Chinese puppeteers.

Well we all thought berzerk was legit. For someone to just stop everything and not reply is scary. Maybe hes hurt, dead, or giving up on the project, who knows? But Im afraid I think he sold out like the scumbags from scharmbeck and original worldcoin foundation. I dont see this coin being revived a third time. So I think its safe to say that if he doesnt reply before this website goes down hes gone forever and so is worldcoin.

Berzerk led the development of the wallet its own way. For example, he refused the version of Windows 32x, motivating it with the fact that soon all computers will be 64-bit. In addition, he believed that most of the modern applications on which many wallets have been created for different crypto currencies are already considered obsolete. But we see that most of the popular crypto currency has fully compatible 32 & 64-bit wallets. So what caused such a decision, for me it is not clear.

I know that on Github there are plenty of available source codes from other projects, and if you want, any developer can take these codes and adapt them to launch a new project or intensive care a old. The only problem is that, without the approval of the major holders of large wallets, there is no benefit to revive the project. If such people sit in the shade and wait, refusing to communicate and engage in the discussion, it means that they'll just use your result and sell your coins when you begin to rebuild your project. It is from this, many developers just go away and they prefer to create new projects from scratch, at least they have 100% control on the new coin.

Duly noted on your first paragraph.

What can someone with a fairly large to large wallet do / or approve? How do we get approval? Especially when the dev's gone missing, or when investors just sit quietly and wait? A lot of investors don't know much about development but want to invest in what they see and hear, and leave the decision making to the developers who know what they are doing.

It's sucks cause it seemed like it was all turning around again and then here we are.

I wonder if the Chinese are planning on taking over worldcoin or just want to manipulate it like they do with their Yuan.

Thanks Shveicar and Cryptojunky. While i have other coins, i love WDC tremendously and am behind it. Looks like she is orphaned and heading into the wilderness on a wing and a prayer. If i had more talent, i would surely compose some poetry for my beloved WDC, now is the right time for it 😂

Perhaps one day some developer more deserving of WDC comes along and restores her to her former glory and beyond. She can be a stunning bride

WDC still is a plain vanilla Scrypt coin, like dozens other. There was no development in this coin, just some childish play with the UI. Whingy monkey chunky hippo you remember all that stuff? The big development was always just another week away, or month or year. The coin now is firm in Chinese hands as the original community slowly faded away. Nobody in the Western hemisphere really uses nor trades this coin. If this website/ forum goes down, it will not have any impact. I have moved on a long time ago its just nostalgia that drives one back from time to time. I still have my silver coins and never opened that original Worldcoin "Cryptobeer" can.
